Dr. Carrie Stricker, PhD, RN, AOCN

Dr. Carrie Tompkins Stricker, PhD, RN, AOCN® is a Clinical Assistant Professor within the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing and Director of Clinical Programs for the LIVESTRONG Survivorship Center of Excellence at the Abramson Cancer Center, where she has also functioned as a nurse practitioner specializing in breast oncology for the past 10 years.

 

Her program of research centers on symptoms, health behaviors, and cancer survivorship. She is currently funded by the Lance Armstrong Foundation to describe and evaluate breast cancer survivorship care planning practices across the LIVESTRONG Survivorship Centers of Excellence funded by the Lance Armstrong Foundation. A major goal of her research is to generate data leading to the evaluation and testing of nurse-led interventions designed to improve health, symptom outcomes, and adherence behaviors in breast cancer survivors.
