Middlesex Hospital Tai Chi Chih

a specific form of Tai Chi

Tai Chi Chih, a specific form of Tai Chi, is a set of movements completely focused on the development of an intrinsic energy called Chi. The form can be learned in seven sessions and unlike longer forms of Tai Chi, one can feel the benefits of this form immediately. Dennis McCann, Ph.D., head of pastoral services for Middlesex Hospital, has been certified to teach this form.  This is a weekly class that meets over a period of 7 weeks for 1 hour. This session ends on March 21. If you miss this session, you can catch another session beginning on May 2nd or September 19th.  Tai Chi Chih is open to cancer patients as well as the public.

Cost: $88 for a seven-week session. To register, call 860-358-2025.
