Evan Vosburgh, MD
 Dr. Evan Vosburgh is Vice President, Research and Administration at the Verto Institute of Stamford, CT and New Brunswick, NJ. The privately funded institute supports and conducts basic and clinical research in the field of carcinoid and neuroendocrine cancers.
He is a board certified hematologist and medical oncologist who served on the faculty of the Boston University School of Medicine for 10 years where he held a variety of positions including Associate Chief of Hematology and Medical Oncology, Director of the Autologous Stem Cell Transplantation Program, Associate Director of the Cancer Research Center and Director of its clinical trials office.
In 1997 Evan Vosburgh joined Bayer Pharmaceuticals in the Biologics Division. He later moved to Purdue Pharma as the Director of Scientific Evaluations where he represented the International Research and Development group in assisting the Licensing and Business Development group in establishing and growing a research program, focusing in the area of cancer therapies.
His clinical and research interests have included hemophilia and related bleeding disorders, systemic amyloidosis, and a broad interest in cancer drug development.
While in Boston he served as a board member of the Massachusetts Division of the American Cancer Society. He remains active in patient care, advocacy and teaching, including activities as a member of the Yale Cancer Center. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Yale University School of Medicine, and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Cancer Institute of New Jersey/Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
Evan Vosburgh received a BS in Zoology from Duke University and his MD from the Albany Medical College. He resides in New York City with his wife Elizabeth Myers, PhD, and his daughter Jessica is an artist and social activist, and son Brendan attends Colorado College.
He also serves as Executive Director of the Raymond and Beverly Sackler Foundation, and medical advisor to the board of Swim Across America.
