Update on ACS Screening Guidelines

Earlier this week, we wrote to you about a story in the New York Times about a revision in the American Cancer Society's guidelines. We stated then and we maintain now that it is very important to understand nuances of the risk/benefit analysis of breast and prostate cancer screenings. The following is a follow-up article quoting officials from ACS who explain that the original article in the NYT may have overstated or mis-represented the ACS position.
